Hi Keith,
Thank you for the question. The problem seems related to your email delivery(probably users are not receiving activation mail). My suggestion will be to test the email delivery.
Something like this plugin can help in testing.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/check-email/If it is working and the mail is still not being sent, you can enable the wp_mail instead of custom bp email.
About BP Auto Activate Auto Login, It will work with any recaptach plugin that works on BuddyPress registration page.

Hi Vivek,
Thank you for asking.
No, There is no performance issue. It’s a minor plugin and most of the time you won’t even notice the difference. The following types are allowed:
File:- ‘doc’,’docx’,’pdf’,
Image:- jpg, jpeg, gif, pngThere are filters to allow modify this list. The default allowed limit is 8MB per file(It may be lower depending on how much upload size your server allows).

Hi Sam,
Thank you for the kind words and using the plugin. We are adding the tab for displayed user(to check for the availability/visibility of the menu item) when on a user profile and that might be the reason. Are you using the BuddyPress menu functionality in Appearance->menu screen or is it something else.
Please help me understand and I will update it.
Thank you

Hi Ethan,
Thank you for the patience. Please upgrade to 1.0.4
.I have added filters(with consistent number of parameters) for all the constructs.
Please let me know if that works for you or not?
