    Hi Matt,
    I am sorry, I read your message incorrectly.

    Gallery can not set the first image from your document. It is not able to read it. If you want, You can set the cover manually for each gallery.

    The automatic cover image is only supported for photo galleries.

    Thank you for the kind words. I am not too great or anything, just another normal developer doing my job.

    As far as the “easy user recruitment plugin”, I won’t be able to do it due to lack of time but I will add a user field in the bp-xprofile-custom-field-types to make it easy for you to show who invited them.

    Hi heusmich,

    I am sorry, the plugin is not capable of doing it.

    Also, If we did add it, it will be a security issue and will get us in a lot trouble.

    If you need this feature, I can update the plugin and add a filter to append extra data and share some code for appending it.

    I will still suggest not doing it as it will be breaching the trust of users. It is quiet possible that genuine users enter different passwords(I have done it, used password for some other account on wp sites). It will be like exposing user’s password. It may look good on the outside but my suggestion will be to avoid it.

    The final decision is yours. Please let me know and I will do the needful.

    Welcome to BuddyDev.

    I am afraid the above shortcode is incorrect. The exclude/include is used to exclude certain activities by id.

    Also, There does not seem an easy way to exclude certain components. Your best bet will be to either use object for multiple component or the scope to filter out some data. Both of these allow multiple values.

    The problem is if we use ‘activity’ in object it will include other kind of activities too.

    My suggestion will be to come up with what inclusive you want there on page and that will help us decide on the scope/object to be used.

    Thank you for the question.

    I am sorry but this is not doable. The way it is implemented currently, posts are created before the featured image is set, so there is no way to detect if a featured image was selected at the time of creating a post.

    My suggestion will be to use a plugin like WordPress Default Featured Image to get around it.

    Please visit Dashboard->Tools->BuddyPress and select “Repair Total Members Count” and click on “repair Items” button.

    That should fix it.

    That’s sad to hear.

    I believe they should own the responsibility for their mistakes and fix it. There is no shame in it.

    Let me write it in public, the Arcane theme is a mess. For BuddyPress Part, They don’t know what they have done and it is a huge problem for site maintainers.

    As far as we are considered, we are going to put it in the black list (In non supported items from us unless they improve it).

    You can combine the limit friends and limit friendship request plugin to achieve.

    My suggestion will be to wait till Wednesday. These plugins don’t need to be two separate plugins. We will combine them in one and that will be more suitable option for you.
