The favorite is attached to activity not media items. That’s why.

I don’t have much to offer currently but there are things coming around Nov that would change the current pain points forever.

    Hi Chance,
    Thank you for the question.

    There is a simple way.

    1. Create a global list with one user(without any condition)
Now, you can try “Sync Users” ( please do not enable hard sync).

That would make the selected user friends with everyone.

    Hope that helps.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Iain,
    Thank you.

    1. Yes, you can specify the parameter gallery_id to the numeric value of the gallery.

    2. The pseudo element is not added by us. The notice is added by us. TO avoid that notice, please wrap the shortcode in a code that checks if the current user can upload to gallery or not?

    3. Are you using object cache? MediaPress should work fine with object cache. If you are using static page caching, you will probably need a way to exclude these pages.

    Hi,
    Thank you.
    I am glad it worked.

Thank you for your kind intention of sharing with the community. Our snippets section needs maintinence and that’s why we have disabled new snippet creation for now.

Please use this support forum to share the code(or even better link to a gist on github.com from here on this forum)

    Regards

    Hi Nik,
    Thank you for using MediaPress.

BuddyPress does not have any generic favourite API. There is way to re-use it other than re-implementing it.

For the time being, I will suggest keeping WPUlike.
If you found the conflict, Please let us know and we can look into it.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Jason,
    Hope you are doing well.
I will add some more to Ravi’s reply.

    1. BuddyBlog Pro does not need you to add any custom capability to user. We manage it programatically. All you need to do is to select who can create/edit in the BuddyBlog->Settings->Post Type(specific post type) screen. Even users with subscriber role can create/edit post on their profile if you allow it here.

If that is not working, It is a confclit.

please share details about your current setup(active plugins and themes). You can find this detail in Dashboard->Tools->Site Health->Info screen.

    Regards
    Brajesh
