This plugin doe not have any settings.
After activating the plugin if you visit your own profile, what do you see there? It should list all activities from your groups, your friends there.
Can you please confirm if that is not happening?

It won’t have any effect. It only validates that the username only contain alphabet and number(Is used at another place for testing) but it will not cause any issue.
