    can you please check if the file lib/buddypress/cb-bp-cover.php is present and loaded?

    Hi Graham,
    I am sorry for the issue. Most probably you are using an older version of BP Ajax registration. The plugin did no clear new bp hash for activation, so BuddyPress is not listing the users(BuddyPress hides them). Please upgrade and deactivate/reactivate the Ajax registration plugin. It will fix the issue.

    Somehow the generator for the css is not being called and is not generating the css at all(BuddyPress calls our callback to generate the inline css for the header part, any chance of css caching there?)

    I have registered an account and I am able to see the problem on the site. Images are uploading but the cover is not being set.

    Please allow me 1 hour to check a few more things on local. If I am unable to reproduce it on local, I will need temporary admin access to troubleshoot.

    Which theme are you using? It is an issue with the theme. BuddyPress does it out of the box and most of theme supporting this should it doo.

    More updates coming this weekend too.

    I tested the cover upload, It is working for me. I am not sure what could be the reason. can you please try a different image.

    Also, is the any chance that you have overridden the profile background in custom css(just trying to find out the conflict). Or, I do have link to the site, Can you please post me to a profile where you have uploaded a cover, I can see if it is some css conflict.

    About the media, If there were multiple media, It would have been like that(filled space). I am assuming in MediaPress, we should check the count and if it is a single media, we should use the mid/large size image instead of the thumbnail. I am going to update MediaPress with it and see how it goes.

    It is not going to make much of a difference.

    The performance depends on a lot of things. It may have a tiny affect(few ns) but nothing to worry about.

    Poedit allows us to do offline translation and is the norm in the community.

    Locoedit seems good but we do not want to bloat theme distribution because of it, unless we see adequate requirements for it.

    If you face any issue with poedit, please do let me know.

    For CSS/Js we recommend using Autoptimize
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/autoptimize/

    It is the simple and easy among all the available solutions.
