Hi Iain,
If you are getting redirected to “registration/profile/edit/group”, you already have some plugin/theme code that is affecting the behaviour.I will suggest identifying it(by disabling plugin/changing theme) before trying to put other code.

Thank you for the question.The group tabs are aimed at admin. We can update the plugin and add a filter to enable for authors. please do note that the change will have more negative impact than positive. Groups tabs/sub tabs access if not added properly, can lead to 404 on groups. If you allow authors, they can create tabs for the groups they may not have access(private/hidden groups). If this is fine, Please let me know and we will update.

I believe this should be achievable:-1. In the settings “Disable for roles?”, Please select all roles except “VIP”
2. Leave the excluded roles from recording empty
3. set the policy to mutual.That would do it.

Thank you.I see, we need to update the template for BuddyBoss 2.0(the list loaded in profile tab/directory if enabled). That seems to be the one throwing notices.

Thank you for using the plugin.If the profile header is not visible, the recent visitors should not be visible.
1. Can you please check by modyfying the settings(there are 2 settings to tune profile header list) and see if any of them allows you to use it properly.
2. If that does not work, Please let me which theme and template pack are you using? I will look into it quickly.
