Thank you for the replies and the patience.I have been busy with the MediumEditor addon(pushed today to some members) and could not find time to review Ravi’s code.
I have started reviewing and I see there are a lot of overlap and code duplicacy between BuddyBlog Groups and BuddyBlog Pro. I will need around 2 days to clean and put the release.
Please allow me couple more days. I can provide you the plugin(BuddyBlog Groups today) but I may not guarantee that the posts that you would create with it today will work with the final version(some meta may change).

I am sorry, that field is not searchable. I will be updating the plugin page to reflect the list of field not searchable(post type, taxonomy and there are couple more fields which are stored as serialized data and is not searchable).Regards
