Thank you for the question and the kind words about our plugins.the functionality you are looking for is not achievable by the tabs plugins.
You will need to store the last login time for each user and then when they login again, you can compare this with current time to add the custom redirect.
If you have some specific url to redirect to, Please let me know. I or Ravi can provide you the code snippet.

Thank you for the patience.Please upgrade to 1.1.0 and you can use the file field type.
Please do know that we have not removed the WordPress restrictions on file types. So, please try the field with least privileged user and if that gives you a warning(unable to upload dues to security reasons), please install one of the following plugins for removing that limit.

If you are using BuddyBlog, Please install Simple Front end post editor plugin and enable front end editing.If you are using BuddyBlog Pro, there is no need to install the extra plugins, you can control it from the tab settings page in the dashboard.

Currently, the plugin only supports fixed list. We are reworking on it to allow dynamic selection of users.It will need 3-4 weeks to be available though.
