    Hi Daniel,
This is the way BuddyPress works at the moment. Yes, it is feasible with custom code. I will suggest asking your theme developer for the same as it will make the experience a lot better.

    Regards

    Hi Kumar,
BP Magic theme does not support profile covers. It was developed at a time when profile cover was not available with BuddyPress and we do not plan to update it in near future(The reason is it is not responsive and we don’t see any future for a non responsive theme).

    Regards

    Hi Val,
    Welcome back.
We are doing well. I hope you are doing well too.

    Thank you for the purchase.

At the moment, the plugin doe snot allow editing content from front end. You may want to look into “BuddyBlog Pro” and see if it fits your need. It does allow users to edit/manage content from front end.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Carsten,
    Thank you for the post.

This is the expected behaviour of the poke plugin(was based on old facebook poke functionality). I am sorry, we do’t have the solution for 1 time poke.

Brajesh Singh on in reply to: [Resolved] How To Make Activity Feed Public? #35736

    Hi Mike,
    Thank you for the question.
By default, all BuddyPress content are public.

How are you making the site’s activity page or other pages private? Are you using some plugin or code? Please let me know and I will assist.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Janet,
    Thank you for the reply.

I am sorry, we are unable to add compatibility with RT Media at the moment. The changes needed for it is not the simple one line and your timeline is not flexible enough.

I had promised on 10th January to look into adding compatibility with the RT media. Received details about RT Media activity preview from you on 12th January.
It has been exactly 10 working days from my first comment about looking into it and adding the compatibility.

I had miscalculated the 2 days time and I apologise for that. It is not feasible to do such change in such a short span of time for a major 3rd party plugin like RTmedia and its addons.

For all your other requests on this forum, we did assist you in time as they were not needing such a large change.

Since you have mentioned that you need it tomorrow morning, it is not feasible at all. The only way forward I see is to offer the refund for your membership.

We will issue the refund within 48 hours and let you know.

    Thank you
    Brajesh

Brajesh Singh on in reply to: I need a menu item for Recent Profile Visitors #35734

    Hi,
BuddyPress provide you a custom link to reach logged in user’s profile.

In the WordPress menu, if you add a link like this

    http://yoursite.com/members/me/

It will be converted to the logged user’s profile. For example, if a user with ‘admin’ username is logged, it will point to

    http://yoursite.com/members/admin/

You will need to replace http://yoursite.com/members with the members directory url.

You can use the above link for the other urls too. Just replace the url up to member’s profile the above dynamic slug.

For Recent Visitor, Please open the recent visitors tab and look for the url in the location bar. Now, replace the part until member’s username with the above and use it in the custom link option.
You can repeat the same for any link.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Michael,
    Thank you.

Yes, we will update the plugin for the message sending. For friends, It works out of the box. Most probably, It is unable to find supporting hooks in the theme.

Can you please tell me which theme are you using?

    Regards
    Brajesh
