Thank you for the question.I do not think MediaPress in its current state can help you achieve that. The current capabilities of MediaPress is limited for Audio/Video.
It also does not have the ability to allow users create playlists/bookmarks etc. Overall, It is not a good fit currently.

Thank you for the suggestions.1. We will look into it. I am assuming that it should be doable. The problem is with the ignore button and dealing with multiple template packs.
2. Please allow us till Tuesday to release an update if it is not already there in the options
3. Do you have some kind of caching enabled?
4. We did it for Friend suggestions for a client and it is not scalable. Current xprofile meta query does not scale. If we add it, it is bound to take down sites and that is the reason, we haven’t released anything in public.

Thank you for the suggestion.I am sorry, we won’t be able to have it.
The extra menu is a theme feature and should be provided/managed by themes(we do plan to showcase it in one of our future themes).
The plugin needs to work with all the theme and we believe the appearance of button/placement of button should be in the theme domain(where they offer us a hook to put our button).

We haven’t looked into the video player API and are unable to assist you with it.We are using the video shortcode provided by WordPress which uses the MediaElement.js Player
http://www.mediaelementjs.com/So, you will need to look into their API.
