Welcome to BuddyDev forums.I haven’t seen it earlier. Is there any chance that you are logged in as site administrator? Is it happening for normal account?
Also, did you modify the tab order using customizer?

Thank you for the reply.1. They will be sorted by last activity again. The plugin added a random last active time for each user to make them visible on your sub site(The last activity from main site was not available). Once your members login to the site, they will be sorted as expected.
2. I am sorry but I am not sure what you mean by existing groups? Multi network does not copy groups from your main site. Each site have their own groups.

It allows muting activities as well as a lot more functionality.

It allow blocking/unblocking other users. Muting blocked/blocker user’s activity, activity comments, restrict private messages tec.
