    Thank you for the question.

    Even though it is doable, It will need extra efforts from you.

    1. A plain text area can not have a different content presentation than the content view. What you want if you use contenteditable div or rich text area. They can have 2 different views. This will need rewriting the part of theme that provides interface for posting content(and related js)

    2. Filtering the displayable content:- Filtering @ mentioned username at the time of display of activity content is inefficient as you will need to use regular expression to achieve the same for each entry. You can hook to activity saving action and update content to use the display name for mentioned users. Make sure to hook a bit late to allow the activity mention notificationss work.

    Hi Mike,
    It seems to me the issue is your Forget Password and reset password are set to the same page.

    Please visit Settings->BuddyPress->Pages and check if that is the case? If that is, Please set them to different pages and it will be fixed.

    Hi Mike,
    There seems to be 2-3 plugins available for bbPress. I don’t use any, so unable to say which one is better.

    Do you need integration with BuddyPress? Allowing users to update signature from BuddyPress profile? IF you are able to find one, it will be good. If not, Please let me know. Our team will be glad to create one for allowing signature update from profile.

    Thank you for the question.

    Currently, the GD plugin seems the most used for this purpose. I personally think it is a good plugin.

    At the moment, MediaPress lacks support for bbPress/ We are planning next cycle of development from 5th september for MediaPress and this is one of the features coming to MediaPress as well.

    Hi Carsten,
    The active classes are managed by BuddyPress. It should be same for a tab created by any way(using code, BuddyPress core or using the profile tabs pro). Please link me to your site and I can check the issue.

    I am guessing the theme is targeting tabs based on ids not classes and that’s why this might be happening.

    Thank you for the purchase.

    Please allow me to assist you with it.

    1. Do you have a field with type as “Single Member Type” or “Multi Member type” ? The member type assignment is synced with this type f field only. If you already have it, Please do let me know.

    2. If you rename a member type slug, It creates new member type(internally). So, all the old assignment will be removed. To get back the assignment, Please reuse the old slug.

    3. The member type directory will list members who have member type and have a last active time set(this is required by BuddyPress). To check the list, Please select the filter “Alphabetically” to see all non active users too.

    Badges have no connection with profile filed, if you have assigned badge to a member type and set that badge as active, It should appear on any user having those member type.

    If possible, Please provide me temporary access and I can quickly assist.

    Welcome to Buddydev.

    I am sorry but it seems there is confusion sbout what sitewide gallery is.

    Sitewide gallery( a bad choice of name on our part) is the type of gallery that can be created/managed without BuddyPress. It does not aggregate your global media.

    You can use a page and our shortcode [mpp-list-media]

    for the same.
