    Thank you for opening the topic.

    1. Are you migrating the whole database( user, groups,. posts and all). I will suggest moving the database and using https://github.com/interconnectit/Search-Replace-DB to update the urls. this works great.

    2. Or If it is going to be a new install, you can simply export the tables from the first install for user/groups and import them in the new install

    Or if all you want is use the new theme, you can simply upgrade the install.

    PS: if you are trying to merge two different installs, then the above step is not suitable and the approach should be using a plugin to export/import data.

    Hi George,
    I can confirm this now. We have multiple conflicts with NextGen gallery.

    1. The download size gets 0
    2. On one of my installs, the user create gallery page stopped working.

    PS: If you are using WordPress 4.7.1 or 4.7.2, there is a bug that does not allow uploading non image files. I suggest using https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-real-mime-check/ for the timebeing until it is fixed in WordPress core.

    1. It is a wonderful idea and we will love work on it in future(hopefully in the 3rd week of the FEB). This may give us an opportunity to revamp the whole system and let admins allow colors/palettes etc,

    2. Yes, there is.

    

$image_src = bppg_get_image( $user_id);//get image src or false if none

$repeat_type = bppg_get_image_repeat( $user_id);//image repeat type e.g repeat-x. repeat-y etc

    Hope you can use it to style page.

    It will fix most of the issues. Please do note that it still has an issue with invitation(It is not excluding users) and pending group membership requests( for users who have already exceeded the quota).

    We will be working on it again in next few days to address those issues.

    Hi,
    I will suggest waiting for the official update.

    You should be able to create categories from dashboard. Users should be able to assign those categories to their gallery. The on thing it needs is updated version of MediaPress. We will have an official release mid next week.

    Hi Dandy,
    Thank you for the post.

    To be honest, it will be easy to display the things using various templates( you may look inside the buddypress folder in your theme for the templates) but allowing custom actions(like sending messages, deleting things etc) from a non profile page will need some work. The actions are mostly tied to urls and users will be redirected to the respective(profile url) on submitting message etc. Is that fine for you? If yes, then all you need is copy the template files from your parent-theme/buddypress/single directory.

    A middle ground will be to modify the members template(home.php) and hide header on non landing pages.
