Hi Carsten,
If you want to use php code for removing, you will need to override buddypress/members/single/home.php as there is no hook to disallow loading (while using default BuddyPress template packs).
If you are comfortable with it, Please let me know which template pack are you using(I believe you were using legacy earlier) and I will share the snippet.

it seems you are using our Multi Network plugin if you have to re-associate the page with some tab.I am closing the topic as you have informed via mail to abandon the plugins and go for your own custom dev.

I am sorry, i thought about this issue differently.since this is related to use of an LDAP plugin, Can you please tell the hooks if there is any hook fired after the creation of user and profile update by LDAP plugin? If not, Can you please point me to the plugin, I can check for the hook.
I will quickly add support for the update/sync on that hook and that will resolve it.

Thank you for the reply.BuddyPress does not limit the time for deleting an activity or place. The link appears ebvereywhere applicable. Please check if you are using one of plugins to achieve that or probably your theme is limiting the link availability.
