Hi Bruno,
The group hierarchy is not yet available with BuddyPress. The Group Types was added couple of versions back.
It’s good to know that one of those works for now.

Thank you for the question.
The speed depends on your server as well as the connection speed of the uploader.
MediaPress currently show the preview only after upload is complete and that’s why it may look a bit delayed. We are working on a new upload experience where we show the preview instantly(like facebook or twitter) using javascript and then we start uploading.
Uploading is still automatic.

I had a look at the site today. Your issue is conflict with BuddyBlog Pro. Most probably, the BuddyBlog pro is enabled for mpp gallery post type.
Please check mail for the same.
