    Thank you.
    I see the issue. In the current version we have pus a flag for the user_register action and by default it is not used.

    If you are comfortable with code, Please put this line in your theme’s functions.php

    

add_filter( 'bp_auto_friendship_pro_enable_on_user_register', '__return_true' );

    We will set it to true by default in next update.

    Hi Emma,
    Thank you for purchasing the plugin.

    The add to friend works when a new user registers. The above setting from your screenshot will add the 2 users as friends of any future user registering on the site.

    It does not work on already existing user. We are working on a tools section for this plugin to allow admins connect members without user’s involvement. That will work and sync with existing users too. It will be available in 2-4 weeks though.

    Please try registering a new user and see if it works or not?

    Have you enabled and configured the setting in the Auto Activate Auto Login settings screen? What is the condition and where do you need it to redirect to?

    Thank you for the reply.

    1. Activity pro and Activity plus are different plugins.
    2. Activity plus is compatible with the latest WordPress version(6.6)
    3. We do not recommend using Activity Plus with BuddyBoss. BuddyBoss has their own media component and you should use that for better UI and integration.

    1. Are you comfortable with a few lines of custom code adding to a file?

    2. Do we restrict the changes to the first time a user’s member type is changed or do we add new friends each time their member type is changed

    3. Should we sync the friends to the member type? In this case, any existing friends will be removed.

    Please let me know and one of us will post the code.

    The activity recording has nothing to do with the theme. If it works for any theme, It will work with the Community Builder pro too.

    Please check that it works properly.
