I love this idea, I could use it myself –
bulk deactivate, email and delete users who have been inactive for so long.

Just to add to this, I also find it a pain with the usernames but had to accept it.
Considering most my users already ‘sign in’ with their email address. It does seem confusing – however I’ve just gotten use to it.
There is a plugin called BP-Messages, which entirely replaces the stock message system within BuddyPress. This allows a more ‘FB Messenger’ styled window, including the removal of the Subject line.
Maybe that will help you.

If there are any issues (I believe BP requires the title to be entered before sending?) there is a plugin called BP Better Messages that enables you to remove the Message Title functionality.

Scrap that, it’s not compatible with BuddyPress haha.

I’ve just noticed WPMUDev do have a Login Redirect, so this should be sufficient.

Ah, that makes sense. and it works perfectly!
Any suggestions what to do if I did need Essential Grid? Or is it a case of tough luck for now?
I’m not specifically using it yet, well it’s on the homepage but I can tweak it if it’s causing a pain.

Oh, I’m 100% using a staging ground – this website itself is staging rather than my live environment 🙂
Okay, Essential Grid is part of my theme although its not actually activated right now…?

I’m in no rush and would rather wait until you’re happy with it.
Most my users are going through mobile access so camera photos would probably be larger than 2mb – until compressed with wpmudev smushit

Hey Brajesh, still no rush on this but wondered if you had any updates? I’m still setting up this new improved version of my site and wondered whether this was still in scope to incorporate before it’s rolled out

haha, I thought I was going mad before the videos 🙂
Any suggestions about the plugin situation? I’m aware people recommend lower amount of plugins but these all add essential functions to my website.
I mean, my marketplace/sales area has at least 8 plugins from the same developer (Like Extensions) so it’s hard to cut them off.
There are loads which are not enabled while I’m still testing this site up, which ill remove once I’m confident I don’t need them, but just wanted to get your opinion on it.
