this new/updated plugin sounds very promising, Brajesh, and I look forward to it eagerly. If I can assist with any beta-testing, or plugin-breaking, please let me know.

if the activity is an issue, because there might be more than one thumbnail/media, would it not be possible to simply take 1(one), eg; the first media found? I would still want to be able to “view” the actual activity, as per the current case. The problem is just currently there is no(zero) media viewable under the activity column.

that sounds ideal, please keep me posted, (or I’ll check here again later).

or throttle-by-user-role would work well too, maybe…?

hi Brajesh,
since posting this I found your existing BP plugin for throttling the activity feed: https://buddydev.com/plugins/bp-rate-limit-user-activity/ 🙂
This *almost* does what I want. How hard would it be to make it apply to specific users, and/or for media uploads specifically? For example with a “throttle” switch from their frontend profile (or from the user/edit backend) do you think?

ok, for the post, but that would presumably include “media” as a post, which are not being shown as you can see from the screenshot. Also, if the activity is a photo upload…?

hi Brajesh,
I finally noticed I hadn’t provided feedback here, my apologies – somewhat distracted…
I’m happy to say the report function works *very well* with posts!
The queue functionality leaves a little to be desired though, as there are rarely any preview thumbnails (sometimes, strangely, most times not at all). Eg; one would always expect a thumbnail for reported media. This screenshot should make it clearer to see what I mean: https://www.naktiv.net/wp-content/uploads/mediapress/groups/15/228121/moderation-queue-listing.png

I don’t know what devices my target users are using, they’re using all kinds of laptops, desktops, and mobile ‘phones and tablets, probably washing machines too 😉
Seriously, IOS is all iPhones, right? That’s probably a fair chunk of users. Hmm, would it be possible to add the filter and to leave some kind of default which remains in place for IOS users?

ok, sorry, Brajesh, you were right again 🙂
It’s something to do with the Autoptimize plugin. Not sure what, but when it’s “optimized” the buddyBlog formatting on the front-end goes to pot.
Please feel free to trounce these 2 “non-bug” reports. Even if you want to keep this one as an “example”, the other one expresses doubt as to WP 5.0 compatibility, which his unnecessary and misleading, so you may want to remove it. Your plugins work very well indeed with WP 5.0 and above!

ok, resolving as it appears impractical to struggle upstream.
