Hi Dale,
1. To change the visibility of the profile, Please ask your support team to add a user meta key ‘bp_profile_visibility’ for each user and set its value to ‘loggedin’.
2. To hide from member directory, add a meta key for each use ‘bp_exclude_in_dir’ and set its value as ‘yes’
3. To hide from search, add a meta key ‘bp_exclude_in_dir’ and set the value to ‘yes’.
Meta key and values re case sensitive.

That should have been the default behaviour. Is there any chance you are overriding buddypress/activity/index.php or buddypress/activity/activity/post-form.php in your theme?Regards

Thank you for sharing.Improving Messages experience is definitely on our list of things. I am not sure how soon we can add something like this, but it is one of our priority list(need to finish 2-3 major upcoming projects before it).

From the looks of screenshot, It seems the plugin did not add BuddyPress Notification. Please report it in the plugin’s support forum and they will assist you.regards

Is admin in your friends list? BuddyPress will only show your friends in the suggestion and if admin has hidden themselves from the listing(You are using profile visibility) or is not in your friend list, will not appear.Hope that helps.
