Hi Carolynn,
Welcome to BuddyDev and thank you for opening the topic here. I sincerely appreciate it.Can you please use the private reply on the forum here and share me your site and a guest account(normal subscriber user, no privilege required).
I need to check and see. It is most probably some minor conflict and I should be able to find it quickly.
Thank you

Hi Herve,
I am sorry but I can not do much with it.My suggestion will be to avoid using Nouveau for now if you want to use the above code.
As far as your Theme is concerned, it should work with both the template packs. BP Nouveau is neither an updated version of BP Legacy nor the BP Legacy is being deprecated.
These are two options as as far as BuddyPress is concerned, you will be fine using any of these. In other words, you can keep using BP Legacy.
Regards

Hi Darren,
Thank you for clarifying. At the moment, the gallery directory does not have type based permalink filter. The filtering ahppens on directory using ajax.
On the user profile, there is a type based filter via url.
Since you need it on directory, there is a way to do it. Using shortcode. Please see
https://buddydev.com/mediapress/guides/shortcodes/Hope that helps.
