    Hi Greg,
Thank you for using the plugin.

    1. Please see the first snippet on that page. “devb_custom_private_message_limit_count”. It allows you to update message count. For this snippet, the values are no. of messages.

    2. Yes, It overrides the settings and defaults to settings if you do not specify it for the current user.

    3. It is priority and number of arguments the attached function receives.
Here 10 is priority on which our function gets called and 2 is no. of arguments it will be passed. You should not change it.

    Hope that helps.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Tan,
Thank you for using the plugin. My apologies for the inconvenience.

Can you please share me a screenshot of your settings? Please make sure the setting does not have comma and new line.

Also, can you please tell me if you are using it for restricting registration for certain plugin?(BuddyPress or WooCommerce etc). If yes, then which one?

I will look into it and assist quickly.

    Thank you
    Brajesh

    Hi Propertytips,

    Thank you for the patience.

I have already fixed it on our development repo

    https://github.com/buddydev/blog-categories-for-groups/commit/9dc77b147d4ab26c3a165e756c55bf07a514e147

I am planning a few more enhancements before releasing today. Will be posting back after the release.

    Regards

    Hi Carsten,
I am not sure what is causing it. Notification should not cause it. Check your theme’s functions.php and see if there is any chance some redirection code there (or check bp-custom.php one more time to be sure).

    Hi,
BuddyPress does not store the avatar path in database. It is folder based and since you have moved from the global to a site specific installation, I will be to look for “avatar” and “group-avatars” in your uploads directories of each site and then merging and moving to the sub site you have moved your BuddyPress.

    Hi Carsten,
You most probably have either the Profile Field Completion or the Force Profile Photo active in some way.

    Please recheck.

    It seems the only explanation.

    Regards

    Hi Maria,
    Welcome to BuddyDev.

At the moment, there is no hook.

You can add the condition here

    https://github.com/buddydev/bp-non-editable-profile-fields/blob/master/bp-non-editable-field.php#L67

which is specific to your membership plugin to not hide the fields.

I will add a filter in next udate. Also, if you need multiple group of fields being visible based on membership(say field 5, 7 if membership level 1, field 8, 9 on level 2), my suggestion will be to explore member type based field visibility. That will be more suitable in this case.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Propertytips,
Thank you for using the plugin. I am in the process of pushing an update tomorrow and will add the option in the dashboard settings to let you choose where you want to link. Normal permalink or show it on group.

For the single page:- Sorry, There are no special hooks on single.php. If your theme is adding it, it is theme specific and there are no standards about it.
We can add blog category specific actions but for most of the themes, the template will need to change.

    Regards
    Brajesh

Brajesh Singh on in reply to: Registering taxonomies for BP Profile Search? #19953

    Hi Kir,
I have used Andrea’s excellent guide to add support for some of our field types in past.

There are issues with using Multi select taxonomy or post type. We store the values in serialised form(and ids only) . It is not suitable for search. That’s why we haven’t added compatibility.

You will find that most of the other field types offered by us(birthdate, datepicker, color, email, range, slider, decimal) are compatible with Profile search.

I am sorry for the inconvenience. My suggestion will be to use normal multi select field for the same.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Sir,

Sorry about the video. Will do it today.

For the weak password: – It does not prevent users from registering. BuddyPress simply shows the message but does not stop registration. Are you sure you are not using some other code/plugin to enforce strong password?

    Regards
