Hi Sir,
I have checked it properly. It seems there were some confusion in our previous discussion. I will be clarifying it again here.
1. The global shared galleries allow all users to upload to that gallery
2. A user can upload to a global shared gallery from the gallery page(site/gallery/gallery-name) or using shortcode3. When using shortcode, You must use the shortcode for individual global shared gallery. If you do not specify the gallery id with the uploader shortcode, the upload will not work. It does not show shared gallery in the dropdown unless it was created by the user(yes, this needs improvement in future).
My suggestion(a workaround solution) is to let users upload from individual gallery page(just link to the galleries marked as global). That way, they can see other documents etc.
Or if you need it via shortcode, You will need to create a page for each of the gallery.
Hope that helps.
Regards
BrajeshHi Leslie,
That’s strange.Here I am running MediaPress on wp 5.0

Can you please link me to a screenshot of your admin panel menus?
Thank you
BrajeshHi Leslie,
Yes, the plugin is compatible with WordPress 5.0.
Please visit Dashboard->Plugins->Installed and make sure MediaPress is active. If it still does not appear, is there a chance that you are using some admin menu manager to cleanup/organize the dashboard?
Please let me know and I will assist.
Regards

Hi Dale,
Thank you.
The theme does not do anything with the members lists(all it does is lists whatever it gets from the BuddyPress standard lists). You can verify this by switching to any other theme. If you can share me SFTP and PHPMyAdmin(or any way to access database), I can certainly look into it.
Is the site live for normal users or is it under development currently?
Thank you

Hi Dale,
1. Please upgrade to BP 4.1 and the issue related to the links will be resolved.
2. Since you are already using maintenance service, what is their analysis of the issue about number of users? Have they mentioned some reason for it? Since I have limited access to admin only, I can not say much confidently about the issue.

Hi George,
Can you please try upgrading again. It may be some temporary issue. If it is happening again, Please make sure to check and validate your BuddyDev dashboard account.Regards
