Welcome to BuddyDev.Thank you for looking into MediaPress.
Even though it is possible to get the editing capability on the backend post type screen, I will recommend linking to the actual gallery edit screen(I believe you wanted this for site admins).
here is a modified version of your metabox.

Thank you.I am sorry, I allowed moving the sub tabs to main tab.
I will need to parse the url for subtabs too to allow you use dynamic url tags. Please allow me to add it in the next 2-3 hours.
Please do note that I have not allowed changing visibility for the subtabs(to avoid breaking default landing page by mistake).

Hi Andrea,
1. For overriding, we are trying to mimic the file path of the wp-content/plugins/mediapress/templates directory.You need to create mediapress/default/assets/images in your theme to avoid getting it overridden in future plugin update.
2. Are you testing the file on any local development server? We are using google doc viewer which needs the file to be public. In other words, the file should be accessible from web.
