    Hi Mary,
    Thank you for your questions and interest in the plugin. The current plugin is not compatible with existing cloud storage plugins.

    The reason is use of 2 different hooks than WordPress core.
    In case of MediaPress, we are using 2 different hooks than what is expected by the above cloud plugins.

    The reason was to avoid generating extra images sizes registered by the theme when an image was uploaded via MediaPress.

    These hooks are ‘mpp_generate_metadata’ in place of ‘wp_generate_attachment_metadata’ and ‘mpp_handle_upload’ instead of ‘wp_handle_upload’.

    I will ask my team to do a proxy for these 2 hooks and check with the cloud plugins. Please allow us 2 working days to get back to you.

    Thank you for the reply.

    In my earlier encounter with that specific theme, we found a lot of hooks missing and got that reported to the theme authors via one of our members. I am not sure if they updated o not.

    Welcome to BuddyDev support forums.

    I am sorry for the experience. Are you referring to BuddyDev dashboard and plugins?

    We don’t have any restrictions on activation of existing plugins(even if the subscription has expired). If your membership expires, It won’t allow you upgrade to the new version.

    Please share more details(Do you see some error?) to help us assist you better.

    The Restrictions feature for BuddyBlog will be available sometime in January next year. This is 3rd in list of our priorities for BuddyBlog Pro currently.

    Thank you for checking in.

    This is not coming anytime soon. Currently, BuddyBlog Pro is tightly integrated with BuddyPress/BuddyBoss user profiles. The shortcode is limited to create/edit experience only.

    What you are looking for is not the experience we have in our current plans. It will be available when we add support for non BuddyPress(default WordPress) posting. This change will will available sometimes in 2nd quarter of 2022 as we have other priorities for BuddyBlog pro(extending available field types, validations, better emails, restrictions and some more before we plan to add support for non BuddyPress sites).

    Please let me know which theme you are using. It does depend on theme’s markup. If it is one of the themes already available to us, we will help you quickly. Otherwise, we will need a link to your site to check.

    That’s not the username. It is the nickname field being used by BuddyBoss.
