Hi Derek,
Are you referring to Profile Group id? If yes, Please follow the steps below.From Front end, Please visit Your Profile and click on Edit Tab.
For each group, when you open the edit page, the last part of the url(e.g profile/edit/group/2/, 2 is group id).You can repeat it for all the profile groups

The 404 may happen if you have the editing of post disabled by the user. Please visit dashboard->BuddyBlog->settings->(Post type tab) and look for the editing section.
Please enable
“Allow users to edit their posts?” to Yes and
“Enable Edit for” -> “All Members”

The settings is defined in php.ini and if you have VPS, you can control it. Most of the webhosts(even shared hosts), allow you to change it.

Thank you for the question.We already developed this a few months ago but did not release as we wanted to pack it with our upcoming activity related module. We can make this functionality available next week as a small plugin which can be later replaced by our activity module.
