It is mostly due to the plugin you are using.
Please let me know if you are using MediaPress, We can assist.Otherwise, I will recommend to ask in the relevant plugin’s support forum.

Hi Bruno,
Are you referring to xprofile custom field types plugin or is it xprofile?Xprofile is core BuddyPress feature and if it conflicts with the theme, you will need assistance from the theme.
If it only happens when you activate BuddyPress Xprofile custom field types plugin, I will need access to see it on the site.
The problem is most probably a javascript conflict. Based on your feedback, I will be able to assist you further.
Please let me know the details.
Thank you

Also, you may want to use the BuddyPress Notifications widget. That provides a widget for listing/clearing the notifications on the front end.

Hi,
There were no posts by you here about it. I tried to look at it and you had contacted us via project request form(which should not have been).
The plugin was/is compatible with the original Boss theme. Are you sure you are using Boss(the blue sidebar one) and not their new theme?
I am not sure of the current status as they might have changed their theme recently. Please contact BuddyBoss support for the same.

Hi Tosin,
Thank you.The Memeber Types pro supports multiple role. Even though WordPress supports multiple roles for a user, The default WordPress UI does not support it.
So, I am not sure if it will be a good idea to have multiple roles for long term. Some innocuous profile update may overwrite the roles.
Please think about the benefits/issues maintaining it and you go ahead with it.
Regards
