Hi Carsten,
Thank you for posting. There is not right way or one way to do it. The font as well as styles are theme dependent and each theme might have some effect on it in a different way.
At the moment, there is no simple way to do it though you can use css inheritance to minimize the code for some styles, you will still need to add it based on your theme.

Hi Lars,
Welcome to BuddyDev.MediaPress does provide 3 type of galleries. Sitewide, User’s and Groups. You can opt for all or some of them.
Please do note that our sitewide gallery view is currently a normal grid and does not have any fancy styles that you will find with most of the WordPress gallery. The plugin(atleast till now) has been mostly intended for front end upload/management of media.
If you are looking for a basic sitewide gallery/album option, It will be fine. If you are looking for filtering, sorting, slides etc, It may not be enough in the current shape.
You can use MediaPress with any other WordPress gallery solution(if that works).

Thank you. Please check.
Hi Richard,
Since activity can have any kind of content, My contention is it will make the code bloat without adding a meaningful functionality. When you click on the view, you should be able to view the whole activity.Still, I am willing to do it for MediaPress. I will be adding something in future.

Brajesh Hi Thorsten,
Thank you. I sincerely appreciate your help with making the decisions and adding value to our work here. I also appreciate your contributions with all the translations.rtMedia include custom stylesheet, we do too but we do with minimal code. Recently, I have been realizing this needs to change. I will be focusing more on the appearance and presentation in the futuer updates.
Thank you

Hi Thorsten,
1. You can override icons in yourtheme/mediapress/default/assets/images and put three icons
– doc-large.png
– doc-thumbnail.pngThat will overide the default images for docs.
2. It is not double. the first one is for the publisher of the image and the second one is the current logged user who may reply to the media. It is a css issue. We did not include much css and tried to use as much from theme as possible but that does not work sometime. If you link me as per my other post, I will assist with the css.
3. Seems like a but with the mpp downloadable media. Can you please viti the gallery and see if the media is marked as private or public? The download only check for media status, if it is not public, then it is a bug in the downloadable media plugin. Please let me know and I will update.

Hi Thorsten.
It seems the common css I suggested does not apply on your theme. Please link me to the page and I will supply specific css based on the theme.Thank you
