    Can you please tell me which theme you are using it with? Is it with BuddyPress or BuddyBoss? If BuddyPress, are you using Nouveau or Legacy template pack.

    The only plugin which could cause this is BP Better Experience.

    The other reason could be some css hiding the field.

    Can you please link me to your registration page? I can quickly check if the field is hidden via css?

    Also, by Name, I am assuming that you are referring to default BuddyPress Full Name field.

    Thank you for sharing the details.

    The file you are referring to is a core BuddyPress Noveau template file.

    This is not the issue.

    Is there any way that I can look into your WordPress theme? My assumption is that the WordPress theme you are using has a customized version of profile header and that is causing the issue.

    Please make sure to have the sub nav enabled and label/slug set. It won’t happen in that case.

    a. Tick “Is Enabled”
    b. Set a value for Label & Slug

    After that, Please save and visit the group again.

    I have checked your site today and was able to locate the issue. It was happening due to BuddyPress Sticky Activity plugin by WBCom.

    I have deactivated and everything is working as expected.

    Welcome to BuddyDev support forums.

    I am sorry, I am not aware of any Header field type. We forked this plugin from another one(as that was abandoned) and I don’t remember having a header field.

    The problem with BuddyPress/BuddyBoss fields on profile loop is, they are only visible/fetched if there is some user entered data associated with it.

    That’s one of the reasons you don’t find a header field in the plugin.

    You can use the Profile Field Group title(core feature of BuddyPress) to achieve similar result.
